Awards: Blogger Recognition

Cheers to our very first award post!

Huge thanks to Cristina from My Tiny Obsessions & Tori from The Book Dreamer for nominating us!

RULES:

  • Select 15 other blogs you want to give the award to. Do some digging if you must! Find those blogs. You cannot nominate yourself or the person who has nominated you.

  • Write a post to show off your award! Give a brief story of how your blog got started, and give a piece or two of advice to new bloggers. Thank whoever nominated you, and provide a link to their blog. List who you’ve nominated in the post.
    • Make sure to also attach the award itself! (You can do this by right-clicking, saving, and uploading the image in the right).
  • Comment on each blog and let them know you’ve nominated them. Provide a link to the award post you created.
  • Provide a link to the original post on Edge of Night. That way, anyone can find the original guidelines and post if needed, and we can keep it from mutating and becoming confusing! (It happens LOL).

The Beginning:

The moment I read the Shatter Me trilogy, I never thought it would change my life. (Please bear with me. I love dramatics.) Imagine a person who finished reading the third book of a trilogy. I felt despair, joy, sadness, emptiness and some other things I can’t describe BUT that’s not even the worst part. Imagine you can’t share your feelings with anyone.

I mean yes, I told my friends over lunch (I wasn’t hungry that specific time nor was a thirsty. I felt absolutely nothing except numb.) with all out facial expressions and hand gestures and yes they nodded like they cared (I have the most amazing friends.)

fangirl

Still they don’t truly understand how I feel because they haven’t read it. I’m so lonely and alone with my thoughts stirring and my emotions flooding inside me, I felt like Noah’s Ark, I thought popped out. “What if I write about it?”

idea

My friends and family were very supportive. (Now, that I think about it, maybe they just wanted me to stop talking. Cause honestly once I talk about a book, it will never end. lol) And so I started to think of names AND THEN another idea came to me. A more genius one. “What if I did a blog with my sister?” Since Miedjel indirectly influenced me to start reading. I called her up and PARTNERSINBOOKS was born.

Fast forward, this is us exactly and the guy is the rest of the world.

girls

Yup, it always makes me happy to tell this story.

The pieces of advice you gave were very ingenious! I loved it. You definitely deserve this award. Although I’ve done this award before, I really appreciate you for nominating my blog. The two of you are one of the the most genuine online friends I have ever met!

I can totally relate to those moments where you second-guess if your friends were fascinated by the idea of blogging or they just wanted you to stop talking. Haha.

Hi! I’m not sure how this works (I’m sorry, I’m still learning stuff because I only just started blogging a week ago lol), but I tagged you guys for the Liebster and Siblinghood award: https://literaryconstellation.wordpress.com/2015/08/17/blogger-awards-liebster-and-siblinghood-2/

I’m not sure if you had to be following back for me to nominate you, and if you already did this, feel free to disregard! I just thought I’d let you know in case you didn’t see, because I’m not sure if it lets you know when you’re linked or something? I don’t know yet how that works so forgive me lol.

Hi Ember! Welcome to the blogging community. It is the absolute best ❤ You can tag anyone with these tags but honestly even I still don't know how the link thing works (we also just started about a month and a week!) so I end up just notifying the people I tag (so it's right what you did) Thanks so much for the nomination Ember! and if you need any help, don't hesitate to approach us! Or if you just want to talk about books that would be great too! btw, I love your name! ❤

Thanks so much! ❤ You're right, we've already been nominated and we wrote up our answers but we just haven't posted it yet! Love that you chose to nominate me/us anyways! I hope that we'll have more fangirling together to come! :)))

Congratulation! You totally deserve this. You guys are absolutely incredible! And the blog is just amazing.
By the way, I think lunch table is where “big” ideas were born. Everyone has that moment 🙂

OMG I am the worst nominee EVER. I just realized I never commented on this post to say THANK YOU for the nomination. Gosh, Erika should end our series soulmate relationship right now – no please, don’t leave me! 😦

Thanks girls! I say as I did on my post, if the rules would allow it, I’s totally give you the award back again ❤
